BIOX designs, builds, owns and operates facilities for production of biodiesel fuel. In 2007, BIOX completed the construction and commissioned its first commercial plant with a nameplate capacity of 67 million litres per year. As the largest producer of biodiesel in Canada, BIOX’s proprietary production process has the capability to use a variety of feedstock, including recycled vegetable oils, agricultural seed oils, yellow greases and tallow. BIOX trades on the TSX under the symbol BX.
